Our consultants are well qualified and the majority has worked internationally in a range of leadership, strategy development, project planning and delivery, operational improvement and organisational development roles.

We encourage and actively support local communities and local charities in a variety of ways; from mentoring students interested in pursuing a management related career to providing voluntary non-executive director support to local charities.

Vincent Bryant

Vincent is Managing Director of PI Consulting and prior to this he held a number of senior roles at KPMG and Logica Consulting.

Vincent has many years of experience leading change and improving results through clearly communicated strategies, development of financial models, the design and implementation of new business models, leading the transformation of operations and working with Boards of directors to achieve high levels of effectiveness and corporate governance.

He has designed, directed and managed a wide range of high profile transformation programmes and projects across a range of sectors and is adept at facilitating, motivating and focusing business teams and supporting the steering group and governance processes.

Programmes and projects managed include FSA regulated transformation projects, business turnaround and overseas sourcing, organisation and cultural change, post-merger integration, large scale business critical outsourcing, international finance, process transformation and lean implementation projects.

Vincent read Mathematics at University College London and holds an MBA from Warwick Business School. He is Certified Management Consultant and Fellow of the Institute of Business Consulting (IBC). He is a visiting lecturer at Warwick Business School and provides pro bono consulting and mentoring support to a number of worthwhile charities and individuals.

Vincent enjoys keeping fit, spending time with his family and walking in the countryside. He is a keen kayaker, sailor and windsurfer and a very keen skier.

Ian Gill

Ian is an experienced management consultant who has directed a number of operational improvement projects including overseas sourcing, warehouse reconfiguration and business model re-engineering. He has managed organisation improvement projects in the supply chain and warehouse process improvement and order flow in complex bespoke manufacturing environments.

Prior to consultancy, Ian worked in senior marketing and project roles in a number of sectors including manufacturing and retail. As a consultant, Ian specialises in business analysis, strategy implementation, process reengineering and systems selection. He is accredited to use two leading process tools which can be used not only to capture and map processes but also to create an ‘intelligent’ organisational operating manual.

He holds a degree in Management Science from Warwick Business School and an MA in Corporate Strategy and Governance from Nottingham University. He is an Associate of the Institute of Business Consulting.

Ian is an East Midlands Business Champion where he provides advice and support to social enterprises and charitable organisations. He sits on a committee which is raising funds to redevelop TS Orion, the training facility for Nottingham Sea Cadets.

In his spare time he is a cricket lover, rugby fan and keen country-sports enthusiast. Ian has recently taken up dinghy sailing and has recently passed his RYA level one and two.

Chris Mortimer

Chris Mortimer

Chris has designed and delivered a range of consulting projects that utilise business modelling techniques to improve business performance, particularly in the SME sector. He has consulting experience in the UK and Japan, and has also worked in France. His background includes experience at a Japanese communications consultancy where he devised and implemented strategies to launch European semiconductor makers in the Japanese market.

Chris’s consulting experience and interest is in the application of systems thinking, modelling approaches and analytical techniques to understand, communicate and solve business problems and improve business performance. He combines technical expertise in quantitative modelling and decision support with strong communication skills. Chris’s approach to change management and performance improvement focuses on both the hard and soft aspects of organisational development and the pragmatics of achieving effective workable solutions.

Chris holds BA French and History from University of Warwick and MSc Business Analytics and Consulting from Warwick Business School. He was recently appointed as part-time lecturer in soft systems methodology at Warwick Business School. He speaks fluent French and Japanese.

Chris enjoys cricket and golf in his spare time – in addition to working to improve his score on the Japanese language proficiency test.

Sumi Sivaraj

Sumi Sivaraj

Sumi’s professional experience includes management roles in the financial services, leisure and retail sectors and SME sector consultancy where he has undertaken a range of analytical and efficiency benchmarking engagements.

Sumi’s interest and focus is on the application of business modelling and analytical techniques to strengthen decision making and to identify and prioritise opportunities to improve business performance. His clients value his people-centred approach, his incisive analysis and his ability to listen and provide constructive challenge to get to the root cause of problem situations. Sumi applies systems thinking approaches to develop and build on knowledge of root cause to understand and communicate the implications of taking a particular course of action so that recommendations are pragmatic, effective and deliver the necessary results.

Sumi holds a BA Applied Economics and Business Studies from Kingston University and an MSc Business Analytics and Consulting from Warwick Business School. He is a voluntary mentor with the Aimhigher charity.

Sumi is a self confessed car fanatic, plays badminton and golf and enjoys regular cross country running.

Colin Carnall

Colin is Chief Executive Officer of Cass Exec the Executive Education Faculty of Cass Business School.

Prior to joining Cass Business School, Colin was Professor of Strategic Management and Associate Dean at Warwick Business School. Colin joined WBS from Henley Management College where he held a number of leadership roles resulting in the development and growth of Henley’s MBA portfolio, the school’s international expansion, and later its E-Learning developments. From 1998, as Henley’s Director of Executive Development, he doubled the size of the Executive Programme.

He was appointed Professor of Management Studies at Henley in 1987 and has extensive teaching experience, both with students and corporate clients. Colin is also an active researcher and consultant in the field of Strategic Change, and has held non executive director appointments in both the private and public sectors.

Colin is a regular contributor to conferences and corporate events in the fields of Strategic Change, Organisation Design, Management Development, and E-Learning. Colin’s publications include Managing Change in Organisations (FT Pearson Prentice Hall, 2003), now in its 4th edition. Colin is also the founder editor of The Journal of Change Management, published by Taylor and Francis, a leading journal for academics and practitioners interested in the Change Management field. He has advised both public and private sector organisations on strategic change and the associated leadership development work designed to secure effective implementation.

Colin Coulson-Thomas

Colin is an international authority on corporate transformation and has helped over 100 boards to improve board and corporate performance. He has undertaken a significant number of independent strategic and organisational ‘health checks’ and corporate reviews to identify and prioritise areas and opportunities for improvement and translate these into clear action plans and practical ‘next steps’.

Colin read Economics at the London School of Economics, holds a Masters degree from the London Business School and completed his PhD in Organisational Behaviour at Aston Business School.

He is Professor of Direction and Leadership at the University of Lincoln; Member of the Professional Accreditation Committee and Board of Examiners of the IOD; Member of the Corporate Governance and Risk Management Committee of the ACCA and has served on various public and private sector boards. Colin is a chartered accountant (FCA), chartered certified accountant (FCCA) and chartered secretary (FCIS).

Colin enjoys speaking at international conferences, jogging, and spending time on his narrow boat.
