Since joining PI in November, Ian has headed up the practice’s Nottingham Office. He brings a thorough understanding of the needs of the marketplace and other stakeholders to the development and implementation of strategy. He is a highly capable organisational analyst, adept at understanding organisations both internally and within their external environment.
In addition to 10 years commercial experience in a variety of consumer goods, manufacturing and retail environments, Ian holds an MA in Corporate Strategy and Governance from Nottingham University and a BSc in Management Science from Warwick business school.
In his own words: “I am really looking forward to working with PI’s clients across the UK and beyond, but as someone who was born in Nottingham and grew up on the Notts/Leicestershire border I have always tried to extoll the virtues of what I believe is one of the most under-rated and least well-known regions of the country. Therefore, I am delighted to have the opportunity to develop PI’s operation in the East Midlands and to play my part in assisting the area’s organisations to improve their performance.”

In her own words: “It never ceases to amaze me how much diverse potential and ability individuals hold – and that so many businesses really fail to capitalise on their own home grown talent. I relish working with businesses and their people to help realise that potential: to see the light bulb switch on and continue to burn brightly when self belief, knowledge and confidence surges through and is embedded in the organisation. I passionately believe that spending time and effort on people is the real way to transform business, add sustainable value and make a compelling difference.”
