Assessing and improving team perfomance

Posted: 01 Jun 2006

The Team Climate System©

How does the Team Climate System (TCS©) work? Based on confidential responses to a questionnaire TCS© produces a comprehensive picture of the way a team or group of teams are currently working and the factors that are impacting their performance.

More importantly the information provided by the TCS© enables the team to start facing the issues that are reducing or preventing achievement and prioritise the key areas for improvement.
The TCS© focuses on five areas of team performance:

  • Goals
  • Roles
  • Processes
  • Culture
  • Connection

Allowing the team to assess current status, set improvement targets and compare themselves to a wider group such as the business unit or the organisation as a whole.

The TCS© provides comprehensive reporting enabling prioritisation of improvement activities and the measurement of progress over time.

“TCS has been invaluable in enabling us to focus and improve our performance over the last 3 years” Martin Yates, Customer Service Director, Reuters
